Louvain 1558' and 'Chansons / 7 Livres à 4 parties convenables tant aux Instrumens comme à le Voix. Louvain 1560. 2 vols.'.

Oblong format, c. 215 x 165 mm. Late C16th bindings of brown leather over boards; English, including scraps of a legal document and a liturgical book used as strengtheners; stubs of pink ties at all three edges; gilt edges; covers tooled with fillets and ornaments (partially in gilt), and stamped 'H B' (upper and lower covers). These initials can be identified as Henry Billingsley, owner of Mus. 318-19 and Mus. 306-9. All three sets have the initials 'A B' in C17th pencil on front flyleaves or titlepages. Bookplate 2 in both volumes. C19th shelfmarks: I.7.10-11.
