Provenance: bought at auction in Oxfordshire in 1992 (in a lot comprising the items now designated as Mus. 1287-91); earlier provenance undocumented. Stab-holes imply that the partbook has at some time been bound. Annotations: some C17th underlinings in pen on the dedication page; otherwise only C19th/20th jottings in pencil.

Upright format, 217 x 160 mm. Unbound and loose in sections.
