Mus. 1141d (ff. 136-7)

Manuscript. Two leaves from an unidentified work for trumpet and strings; probably Italian, early 18th century. The leaves are bound in reverse order. Fragments of two movements are represented: (1) end of an Allegro (ff. 137r-v and 136r); (2) 'Grave Tromba tace' (f. 136v).

Bifolium in oblong format, 207 x 83 mm, mounted on a guard and bound into Mus. 1141d, an early 20th-century guardbook of stiff card and vellum.

Provenance unknown; presumably from either the Aldrich or the Goodson bequests.
