Provenance unknown. The volume appears not to be recorded in any catalogue until Havergal 1846. Upright format, 240 x 187mm. Early C20th binding of red cloth over boards, half bound. C17th annotation in Mus. 1112(2), dedication page: 'man of words ... [etc., illegible]'. C17th annotation at head of Mus. 1112(1): 'yel 6 9 white'. No early bookplate. C19th shelfmark: I.3.2. Formerly Mus. 94.
