Mus. 1068: Canto; Mus. 1069: Alto; Mus. 1070: Quinto; Mus. 1071: Sesto.

Provenance unknown. The earliest catalogue entry for these partbooks was made by Hind in Archives 1717, and reflects their relocation to shelfmark I21, where they were added to a Basso partbook from an otherwise unrelated 1588 edition of the same title (now Mus. 1072). In Archives 1717 the original entry for item I21 (= Mus. 1072) reads: 'Phallesi's Musica divina' (qualified in Dowding (main hand) as 'Antw. 1588 à 4. 5. 6. 7 voc.'). To this, Hind has added '5 Books', reflecting his addition of Mus. 1068-71.

Oblong format, 220 x 155 mm. Late 16th-century stab-binding of limp vellum. Upper covers annotated with voice-names in an unidentified late 16th-century hand. Bookplate 2 in Mus. 1071 only. 19th-century shelfmarks: I.4.32-5.
