COMPLETION OF THE CATALOGUEOnline entries now exist for all items in the main 'Mus.' sequence. A few interim entries will be expanded in the coming months; some older entries will be revised to bring them into line with more recent entries; and more links between pages will be created; but in essence the catalogue is complete. It is now possible for the first time to browse through the entire sequence of items that have 'Mus.' call-numbers. To do this, select 'Browse' at the top of the page; in the 'Shelfmark' field, type 'Mus. 1', and choose 'Browse'; then scroll through the sequence.
CITING ITEMS IN THE 'MUS.' SEQUENCEPlease note that the online catalogue always gives full and correct call-numbers for items, including manuscripts shelved in the 'Mus.' sequence. Thus the manuscript shelved as Mus. 2 should correctly be cited only as 'Mus. 2'. Expansions such as 'MS Mus. 2' or 'Mus. MS 2' are incorrect.
17th-CENTURY MANUSCRIPTS OF ITALIAN CANTATASA list is now available of Christ Church's holdings of Italian cantatas and arias. These entries have been created with the generous assistance of Margaret Murata, Alessio Ruffatti and Michael Talbot.
Mus. 984-8: ROBERT DOW'S PARTBOOKSA full-colour facsimile of these important and splendid Elizabethan manuscript partbooks is now available for purchase. High-resolution digital images of the contents can also be viewed online (but not downloaded).
