Provenance: from the Aldrich bequest, listed in Archives 1717, item D5, as 'Ptolemy's Harmonica Dr Wallis's Ed.'; there is no entry in Dowding, which omits music theory. Evidently not the copy listed in the annotatated Christ Church copy of Catalogus impressorum librorum Bibliothecae Bodleianae in Academia Oxoniensis, ed. Thomas Hyde (Oxford, 1674), 1st set (Library Records 3b), leaf facing p. 83, with the shelfmark 'P.2. Art', which may have been sold as a duplicate; nor the copy listed in 2nd set (Library Records 4b), leaf facing p. 82, with the shelfmark 'K.4.68.Or', which is presumably the copy now shelved at O.O.3.7.

Upright format, 255 x 195 mm. Late C17th binding of stiff card, with vellum spine. Shelfmark 'D.5' on front flyleaf. Bookplate 2. C19th shelfmark: I.6.1.
