Missale ad usum insignis ecclesie Sarum: in quo quidem et illi, quos dicta ecclesia observat ritus, consuetudinesque, debito compilantur ordine. ...
Antwerp: [title-page:] Venundantur apud Franciscum Byrckman [colophon:] Asscribendum est ... Christophoro Ruremundum, 1527

Upright format, 330 x 215 mm. Remnants of a 17th-century binding of brown leather over boards, now incorporated into a binding otherwise of dark green fabric over boards. Vellum flyleaf from an unidentified medieval manuscript bound at the front of the volume. An early bookplate on the verso of this flyleaf has been largely obliterated by a later one.

Provenance: donated to Christ Church in 1679 by Thomas Burton (annotation on verso of front flyleaf: 'Ad 1679 Liber Ecclesiae christi ex dono Thomae Burton Artium Magistri & huius Aedis Alumni'); this is presumably the Thomas Burton of Kingsland, Herefordshire, who matriculated at Christ Church in 1672, and graduated MA in 1679.

Not included in the standard microfilm series.
