Provenance: from the Goodson bequest, listed in Clement 1747 as 'Clotilda an Opera. No. 33. 3 Books', and in Malchair 1787 (f. 8) as 'Instrumental parts in the Opera Clotilda'. For a manuscript copy of the song 'Cease, O Cupid, thus to obraid me', see Mus. 1135, sheet 11 verso; this copy is also of Goodson provenance.

Upright format, 377 x 253 mm. The three instrumental parts are stitched into folders of modern thin card and mounted impermanently on cords within an early 20th century binding. Clement's number-label is missing. No early bookplates. 19th-century shelfmark: K.4.83.
