Provenance: from the Goodson bequest, listed in Clement 1747 as 'Ode on the Death of Mr. Hen: Purcell No. 38', and in Malchair 1787 (f. 8) as 'Ode on the death of Henry Purcel Dr. Blow'.

Upright format, 320 x 205 mm. C18th wrappers of thick grey paper, now within an early C20th binding of stiff card and vellum. Clement's number-label is missing. No early bookplate. 19th-century shelfmark: K.4.46; the significance of another superseded shelfmark (f.1.42, on inside upper cover) is as yet unexplained.
