Provenance: from the Goodson bequest, described in Clement 1747 as 'Introduction to Musick Mr Morley No. 42 / London 1608', and in Malchair 1787 (f. 8) as 'Morleys traitise on Music'.

Upright format, 303 x 197 mm. Early C18th binding of marbled paper over boards, edged in vellum. Inside upper cover signed 'Richard Goodson [Jr]'. Clement's number '42' is written on the spine. No early bookplate. 19th-century shelfmark: K.4.17.
