Manuscript. Angelo Vitali, 'Confitebor tibi, Domine', copied in score. Copyist unidentified, nationality not ascertained, mid-late 17th century.

Upright format, 340 x 220 mm. Single gathering of 10 nested bifolios (= 20 folios), unfoliated. Bookplate 2 on f. [1v]. Bound within a folder of modern card, and mounted impermanently on a cord within an early 20th-century folder of thick card and vellum. 19th-century shelfmark: K.3.70.

Provenance: from the Aldrich bequest, listed in Archives 1717, item H19, as 'Partitura a 3 Voc: &c: di Angelo Vitali'. Dowding (main hand) adds: '2. Canti & Basso & 5. Stromenti viz. 2 Violin, 2. violetta & Violone. The Confitebor M.S. in score'. The remains of a label bearing the shelfmark 'H. 19' are pasted on f. [1r].
