The remaining sheets are neither paginated nor foliated. Unused staves on pp. 19-24, 38, and from [p. 66] to the end of the volume (except for the addition of item 6 on the last page). Provenance: from the Aldrich bequest. Listed in Archives 1717, item H43, as 'S. Iacomo Carissimi', to which a later hand has added 'MS. Fol: Dixit Dominus - Anima mea'. The entry in Dowding (main hand) adds 'A Compleat Mass with Instrumts of Carissimi'. To judge from the18th-century catalogues, the volume was subsequently reshelved variously at positions H60 and P1, but ultimately returned to H43. Its front flyleaf bears the shelfmark 'H.43', written in 18th-century ink, together with a deleted shelfmark that probably read 'H.60'.

Microfilm: manuscript music, reel 47.

This is one of the many music manuscripts at Christ Church copied by Henry Aldrich.
