Provenance unknown; not listed in early catalogues of the Aldrich bequest or Goodson bequest. On the colophon: signed 'Richeard Shrene' in a late C16th hand; the initials 'R. S.' also appear in Mus. 342-5. The front flyleaf, which may be a remnant of early wrappers of thin white paper, has been annotated by several hands, late C16th or early C17th, including: 'Mr William Underwoode of Smalbrough owith these bookes p[er] me Awbreycus Baipoole', and 'Thine ever though never Awbrey Baipoole'.

Oblong format, 190 x 140 mm. Early C20th binding of stiff card, quarter bound in vellum, with green ties. No early bookplate. C19th shelfmark: I.4.102(a); formerly Mus. 390a.
