Upright format, c. 220 x 165 mm. Late C17th covers of thin blue or grey card; each partbook is now stitched into a folder of modern card and mounted impermanently on cords within an early C20th folder of stiff card and vellum. Part-names added to original upper covers of Mus. 164-5 by an unidentified late C17th hand. Shelfmark 'I.19' written on the original upper covers of Mus. 164-6 only. Original upper cover of Mus. 163 annotated by J.B. Malchair. Bookplate 2 in Mus. 164 only. C19th shelfmarks: I.3.71-4. Original upper covers of all four partbooks annotated 'Ch Ch Library Oxford' by York Powell.
