Provenance: from the Aldrich bequest, listed in Archives 1717, item E3, as 'Cantica sacra by Diring. 7 Books. Antw. 1618'. The entry in Dowding (main hand) gives the publication date as '1598', apparently in error.

Upright format, 226 x 177 mm. Early C17th stab-bindings of thin blue card. Shelfmark 'E.3' written on upper cover of Mus. 159; also on a label pasted to its spine, and on its titlepage. Bookplate 2 in Mus. 159 only. Upper cover of Mus. 154 annotated by Malchair. C19th shelfmarks: I.3.62-8.
