Manuscript. Unattributed orchestral work in D, in three movements ('Overture', [Fugue] and 'Minuet', the third of these apparently incomplete at the end), copied in score by Richard Goodson Jr, and possibly his composing score. English, early 18th century.

Upright format, 325 x 207 mm. Two nested bifolios followed by a single sheet; 5 folios in total. Foliation is modern, and supersedes Goodson's own pagination system ('1-7') which begins on f. 1v. A cancel sheet is pasted at the head of f. 5r; it has not been lifted. Unused ruled staves on ff. 1r and 5v. Stitched into a modern card folder, and mounted impermanently on a cord within an early 20th-century folder of stiff card and vellum. Formerly Mus. 1129.

Provenance uncertain, but most likely from the Goodson bequest. Formerly shelved within the Portfolios at position I.2.ε; the reference ' I.2.ε' is written in red crayon on f. 1r.
