Manuscript. [Johann Christoph] Papush [= Pepusch], [Sonata] '8/ For Two Fluts and Bass in F'. Incomplete set of two instrumental parts. Copyist unidentified; English, first quarter of 18th century.

Upright format, 300 x 230 mm. Two bifolios; ff. 43-44 is the 'Fluto seconda' part (to be read in the following page-order: ff. 44r-v, 43r-v); wrapped around it as ff. 42/45 is the continuo part (incomplete, missing a central bifolio; to be read in the following page-order: ff. 42r (front cover; titlepage without music notation), 42v, 45r; unused ruled staves on f. 45v). Both parts are now bound into Mus. 1142a, an early 20th-century guardbook of stiff card and vellum. No early bookplate.

Provenance unknown. Not recorded in any catalogue of the Christ Church music collections before the 20th century.
