Manuscript. Suite in d minor for harpsichord (Allemande, Courante, Menuet, Air Amor, Air Cross), with the following heading on f. 40: 'Allemande for the Harpsichord Henry Thornowitz to your Honours desire to which I am Extraordinary plased'. Presumably autograph. English, early 18th century.

Upright format, 330 x 205 mm. Bifolio, previously folded once horizontally and once vertically. Bound into Mus. 1142a, an early 20th-century guardbook of stiff card and vellum. No early bookplate.

Provenance unknown. Formerly shelved within the Portfolios at position I.2.ε; the reference 'I.2.ε' is written on f. 38r. In Havergal Summary, the summary entry of contents for portfolio I.2.ε is said to include an 'allemande &c: by Thornwitz'.
