Manuscript. Fragment of an unidentified orchestral work in D major, copied in score by Richard Goodson Jr; English, early 18th century. The fragment comprises two incomplete movements, copied on pages numbered '9-16'.

Upright format, 385 x 243 mm. Two adjacent bifolios, paginated '9-16' by Goodson Jr. No early bookplate. Bound into Mus. 1141b, an early 20th-century guardbook of stiff card and vellum.

Provenance: presumably from the Goodson bequest, but not recorded in any of the 18th-century catalogues of the Christ Church collections.
