Oblong format, 185 x 145 mm. 60 leaves, plus stubs of several leaves now excised. Only the first 8 leaves are foliated (in modern pencil); unused ruled staves in the remainder of the volume, some with pen-trials. Early 18th-century binding of brown leather over boards, gold-tooled with ornaments and borders on the upper and lower covers. Metal clasps at the outer edges. No early bookplate. No 19th-century shelfmark. Provenance: from the Goodson bequest.
