Upright format, 215 x 160 mm. Late 16th-century binding of white pigskin over wooden boards, blind-tooled with ornamental panels and rolls; brass clasps. Provenance: purchased in 1884 by Kenneth Gibbs (1856-1935), sometime Archdeacon of St. Albans, whose collection of liturgical texts was presented to Christ Church by his widow in 1946.
