Upright format, 195 x 140 mm. Mid 16th-century binding of brown leather over boards, blind-tooled with ornamental panels; fragments of brass clasps. Provenance: purchased in 1914 from Ellis, booksellers (29 New Bond Street, London) by Kenneth Gibbs (1856-1935), sometime Archdeacon of St. Albans, whose collection of liturgical texts was presented to Christ Church by his widow in 1946.
