Arch. Inf. Subt.K.1
Antiphonale ad usum ecclesie Sarum, politissimis imaginibus decoratum
Paris: Impressum ... per Wolffgangum Hopylium, impensis Francisci Byrckman, 1519

Upright format, 397 x 275 mm. Binding: brown leather over boards, blind-tooled with fillets, dating probably from the late 17th century, rebacked in the 20th century. Bookplate 2.

Provenance: donated to Christ Church by Henry Aldrich in 1692. (The donation is recorded in the Donor's Book at Christ Church.) Earlier provenance unknown. An undated 16th-century annotation on the colophon mentions the (unnamed) chancellor of an unidentified collegiate cathedral foundation. This cannot refer to Christ Church, where the position of chancellor never existed. The printed Calender, which is bound after the Temporale, has the usual deleted references to popes and Thomas Becket, but contains no annotations that would point to early provenance.

Microfilm: not included in the standard microfilm series.
