Upright format, 235 x 180 mm. Late-17th-century binding of brown leather over boards, blind-tooled with fillets. Manuscript annotations (non-musical) by Thomas Barlow (1608/9-1691; Lady Margaret professor of divinity, archdeacon of Oxford, and later bishop of Lincoln). Provenance: from the library of Richard Allestree (1621/2-81), canon of Christ Church and regius professor of divinity.
