Allestree G.6.1

Binding fragment (manuscript). Leaf from a 14th-century Sarum antiphoner, including chants for St Thomas of Canterbury and St Agnes. Formerly pasted to (and now lifted from) the inside lower cover of Allestree G.6.1, a printed copy of Omnia opera Des. Erasmi Roterodami, quæcunque ipse autor pro suis agnouit. Cum præfatione Beati Rhenani, uitam autoris describente (Basel: per H. Frobenium et H. Episcopium, 1540-42; vols. 1, 4, 5, 8 and 9). The book was bound in Oxford in the second quarter of the 16th century; see Neil R.
