Binding fragments (manuscript). Two leaves from a Sarum antiphoner, ?14th century, including chants for the November readings of the Book of Ezechiel (front), and the 13th and 14th Sundays after Trinity (rear). Pasted to the inside upper and lower covers of a printed copy of Thucydides cum scholijs et antiquis et vtilibus sine quibus autor intellectu multum est difficilis. Accessit praeterea diligentia Ioachimi Camerarij, in castigando tum textu, tum commentarijs unà cum annotationibus eius (Basel, 1540). Binding of brown leather over boards; upper and lower covers gold-tooled with small ornaments, connected by blind-tooled fillets; rebacked in the 20th century. An annotation on the titlepage records that the volume was donated to Christ Church in 1601 by Humfrey Lynde, who received his B.A. from the college the previous year.
